TRIMOX 125 DESCRIPTION:
AMOXICILLIN SUSPENSION - ORAL (uh-mox-eh-SILL-in)

TRIMOX 125 SIDE EFFECTS:
TRIMOX 125 may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting during the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor promptly. An allergic reaction to TRIMOX 125 is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE TRIMOX 125:
TRIMOX 125: Shake well before each dose. Take TRIMOX 125 as directed by your doctor, usually every 8 or 12 hours. TRIMOX 125 may be taken with or without food. Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level. Therefore, take TRIMOX 125 at evenly spaced intervals. Continue to take TRIMOX 125 until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow, which may result in a relapse of the infection. Inform your doctor if your condition does not improve in a few days.

Amoxicillin treats a wide variety of bacterial infections.

TRIMOX 125 PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of blood disorders, kidney problems, or allergies to penicillin or other antibiotics. Use of TRIMOX 125 for prolonged or repeated periods may result in a secondary infection (e.g., oral or vaginal yeast infection). Contact your doctor if you notice white patches in your mouth, a change in vaginal discharge or other new symptoms. Before using TRIMOX 125, tell your doctor if you are pregnant. TRIMOX 125 passes into breast milk and may have undesirable effects on a nursing infant. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

TRIMOX 125 DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medications you may take, especially of: probenecid, disulfiram, tetracyclines. TRIMOX 125 may interfere with the effectiveness of birth control pills. Discuss using other methods of birth control with your doctor. This antibiotic may cause false positive results in diabetic urine testing using Clinitest. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

TRIMOX 125 OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

TRIMOX 125 NOTES:
TRIMOX 125 has been prescribed for your current condition only. Do not use it later for another infection. A different medication may be necessary in those cases. Do not share TRIMOX 125 with others.

MISSED TRIMOX 125 DOSE:
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

TRIMOX 125 STORAGE:
Refrigeration is preferable but may not be required. Check the label to see exact storage instructions. Keep the bottle tightly closed and away from direct sunlight. Discard any unused portion after 14 days since the drug looses potency after that time.
