SODIUM THIOSULFATE DESCRIPTION:
SODIUM THIOSULFATE - INJECTION (SO-dee-um thigh-oh-SULL-fate)

SODIUM THIOSULFATE SIDE EFFECTS:
SODIUM THIOSULFATE is generally well tolerated. Report any unusual symptoms to your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE SODIUM THIOSULFATE:
SODIUM THIOSULFATE: SODIUM THIOSULFATE is administered by injection by a health care professional. SODIUM THIOSULFATE must be used as directed.

SODIUM THIOSULFATE USES:
SODIUM THIOSULFATE is used in the treatment of cyanide or arsenic poisoning.

SODIUM THIOSULFATE PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: previous illnesses, any allergies. SODIUM THIOSULFATE should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if SODIUM THIOSULFATE appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

SODIUM THIOSULFATE DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

SODIUM THIOSULFATE OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

SODIUM THIOSULFATE NOTES:
Laboratory tests will be done to monitor your response to this therapy and determine dosing.

MISSED SODIUM THIOSULFATE DOSE:
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.

SODIUM THIOSULFATE STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat, light and moisture. Do not store in the bathroom.
