PEDIACARE FEVER DESCRIPTION:
IBUPROFEN 40MG/ML ORAL DROPS (eye-byou-PRO-fen)

PEDIACARE FEVER SIDE EFFECTS:
Stomach upset, nausea or diarrhea may occur initially. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor immediately if any of the following effects occur while taking PEDIACARE FEVER: dark or bloody stools, dark urine, vomiting, stomach pain, chest pain, ringing in the ears, trouble breathing, unusual bruising or bleeding, swelling of the feet or ankles, weight gain, vision changes, itching, skin rash. Infrequently, PEDIACARE FEVER may increase the skin's sensitivity to sunlight. If this happens to you, avoid prolonged sun exposure, wear protective clothing and use a sunscreen. Avoid sunlamps. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE PEDIACARE FEVER:
PEDIACARE FEVER: Take PEDIACARE FEVER by mouth with food or immediately after a meal as directed. Shake well before measuring each dose. Drops should be mixed with milk, juice, or formula. Do not lie down for 30 minutes after using PEDIACARE FEVER. Take PEDIACARE FEVER exactly as prescribed. Do not increase the dose, take this more often or take this for longer than prescribed.

PEDIACARE FEVER USES:
PEDIACARE FEVER is given to children to reduce a fever and/or relieve minor aches, pain and swelling.

PEDIACARE FEVER PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: liver or kidney disease, blood disorders, ulcers, heart disease, alcohol use, high blood pressure, eye disease, any allergies (especially drug allergies). Use caution when performing tasks requiring alertness. Limit alcohol intake as it may intensify the drowsiness effect of this medication. This medicine may cause stomach bleeding. Daily use of alcohol, especially when combined with this medicine, may increase your risk for stomach bleeding. Check with your doctor or pharmacist for more information. Do not take aspirin without consulting your doctor. Check the ingredients of any nonprescription medication you may be taking since many cough-and-cold formulas contain aspirin. Caution is advised when PEDIACARE FEVER is used in the elderly. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using PEDIACARE FEVER. Use of PEDIACARE FEVER in the last 6 months of pregnancy is not recommended. PEDIACARE FEVER is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

PEDIACARE FEVER DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: diuretics (water pills), lithium, beta-blockers (e.g. propranolol), warfarin, triamterene/amiloride, methotrexate, aspirin, other aspirin-like drugs (NSAIDs like ibuprofen), anti-seizure medication. Check labels on all medicines, including over-the-counter drugs, and consult your pharmacist if you are uncertain they contain aspirin or other NSAID. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

PEDIACARE FEVER OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe stomach pain, coffee ground-like vomit, dark stool, ringing in the ears, change in amount of urine, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, muscle weakness, slow or shallow breathing, confusion, severe headache or loss of consciousness.

PEDIACARE FEVER NOTES:
PEDIACARE FEVER should be used for no longer than 3 days for a fever or 10 days for pain unless directed to do so by your doctor. If symptoms continue after this time or become worse, consult your health care professional.

MISSED PEDIACARE FEVER DOSE:
If you miss a dose take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.

PEDIACARE FEVER STORAGE:
Store at room temperature (between 59 and 86 degrees F; 15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Do not store in the bathroom.
