NEPHRON DESCRIPTION:
EPINEPHRINE SOLUTION - INHALATION (ep-in-EFF-rin)

COMMON NEPHRON BRAND NAME(S):
Adrenalin, Isuprel

NEPHRON SIDE EFFECTS:
Tremor, nervousness, shakiness, headache, nausea, heartburn, lightheadedness, difficulty sleeping, unusual taste in mouth, hoarseness or dry throat may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: a rash, rapid heartbeats, chest pain, dizziness, coughing, breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE NEPHRON:
NEPHRON: NEPHRON is inhaled into the lungs using special breathing equipment. A health care professional will demonstrate the proper way to prepare the medication and use the equipment. Make sure you understand how to operate the device and ask any questions you may have. Use the solution as directed. Do not increase your dose or use this more frequently than directed. Excessive use may lead to a loss of effectiveness while increasing the chance for side effects. If you find yourself using this more than usual, contact your doctor. Do not stop using NEPHRON without first consulting your doctor.

NEPHRON USES:
NEPHRON opens breathing passages to make breathing easier. NEPHRON is used to treat acute breathing problems.

NEPHRON PRECAUTIONS:
Before using NEPHRON, tell your doctor your medical history including that of: heart disease, heart rhythm problems, chest pain (angina), diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, a history of strokes, seizures, drug allergies. NEPHRON should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. NEPHRON may be excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

NEPHRON DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: blood pressure drugs, beta-blockers (e.g., propranolol), diabetes drugs, anti- depressants. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

NEPHRON OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include irregular heartbeat, tremor, weakness, nausea, vomiting, and headache.

NEPHRON NOTES:
Do not change brands of NEPHRON without consulting your doctor or pharmacist since not all brands may be identical.

MISSED NEPHRON DOSE:
If you are on a regular dosing schedule and should miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered. Use any remaining doses for that day at evenly spaced intervals. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.

NEPHRON STORAGE:
Store the solution in a cool area protected from light. Do not store in the bathroom. Discard the solution if it turns color or contains particles.
