INFANT SUPPOSITORIES DESCRIPTION:
GLYCERIN SUPPOSITORY - RECTAL (GLISS-er-in)

INFANT SUPPOSITORIES SIDE EFFECTS:
Skin irritation or burning around the rectum may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor. Very unlikely but report promptly: blood in stools, persistent urge to empty the bowel, persistent diarrhea. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE INFANT SUPPOSITORIES:
INFANT SUPPOSITORIES: Unwrap suppository and moisten with lukewarm water. Lie down on your left side with the right knee bent (if left-handed, lie on the right side with the left knee bent). Push the suppository into the rectum with your finger. Do not use more of INFANT SUPPOSITORIES than directed on the package label or by your doctor. Do not use for longer than 1 week unless directed by your doctor. Consult your doctor or pharmacist. Laxatives should only be used temporarily until normal bowel habits return. Prolonged use can lead to laxative dependence.

INFANT SUPPOSITORIES USES:
INFANT SUPPOSITORIES is used to treat constipation.

INFANT SUPPOSITORIES PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor your medical history, including: allergies, undiagnosed stomach pain, nausea or vomiting. INFANT SUPPOSITORIES should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if glycerin suppositories are excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

INFANT SUPPOSITORIES DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of all nonprescription and prescription medication you may use, especially of: other laxatives. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

INFANT SUPPOSITORIES OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed. If you or someone you know may have taken this medicine by mouth, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

INFANT SUPPOSITORIES NOTES:
Do not share INFANT SUPPOSITORIES with others. To prevent constipation drink 4 to 6 glasses of water daily, include bulk or roughage in your diet and exercise regularly.

MISSED INFANT SUPPOSITORIES DOSE:
Generally, INFANT SUPPOSITORIES is only used "as needed". Consult your pharmacist for more information.

INFANT SUPPOSITORIES STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from heat, light and moisture.
