ERGAMISOL DESCRIPTION:
LEVAMISOLE - ORAL (lev-AM-iss-ohl)

ERGAMISOL SIDE EFFECTS:
ERGAMISOL causes nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, mouth sores, loss of appetite, stomach pain, change in taste and smell, muscle aches, fatigue, dizziness, headache and skin rash. Notify your doctor if these symptoms become bothersome. Notify your doctor if you develop: flu-like symptoms (fever, chills, weakness, sore throat). If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE ERGAMISOL:
ERGAMISOL: Take ERGAMISOL exactly as prescribed. Do not increase your dose or take it more often. Your condition will not improve faster by taking more medication, but side effects will be increased. ERGAMISOL may be taken with food or milk to minimize nausea.

ERGAMISOL USES:
ERGAMISOL stimulates the body's immune system to help treat and protect against illness. It is used in combination with other medications in the treatment of colon cancer.

ERGAMISOL PRECAUTIONS:
Avoid use of alcohol and alcohol containing products while taking ERGAMISOL. Severe stomach upset, flushing and headache can occur. ERGAMISOL is not recommended for use in pregnant or nursing women or in children.

ERGAMISOL DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Inform your doctor about all the medicines you use (both prescription and nonprescription). Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

ERGAMISOL OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

ERGAMISOL NOTES:
ERGAMISOL must be taken under close medical supervision. Understand the risks and benefits of this therapy. ERGAMISOL affects your blood cells. It is important to have your blood checked frequently while taking ERGAMISOL to see if changes in the dose are necessary.

MISSED ERGAMISOL DOSE:
Do not take the missed dose at all and do not "double-up" the next dose. Resume your regular dosing schedule and check with your doctor.

ERGAMISOL STORAGE:
Store at room temperature and keep away from moisture and sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom.
