HOW TO USE DESOXYN:
DESOXYN: Take DESOXYN by mouth exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take DESOXYN late in the evening because it may affect your ability to sleep. If you are taking the long-acting form of DESOXYN, do not crush, chew or break the tablet; swallow the tablet whole. If you are currently taking an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine), wait at least 14 days between discontinuing the MAO inhibitor and starting therapy with DESOXYN. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more information. Use DESOXYN exactly as prescribed. Do not increase your dose, take it more frequently or use it for a longer period of time than prescribed because DESOXYN can be habit-forming. Also, if used for a longer period of time, do not suddenly stop using DESOXYN without your doctor's approval.
