CLIOQUINOL DESCRIPTION:
CLIOQUINOL - TOPICAL (kleye-oh-KWIN-ohl)

CLIOQUINOL SIDE EFFECTS:
CLIOQUINOL may cause burning, stinging, or redness when first applied to the skin. This should disappear in a few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor promptly. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE CLIOQUINOL:
CLIOQUINOL: Clean and dry the affected area before applying the medication. To apply, gently massage a small amount of the medication to the affected area and surrounding skin. Continue to use the medication as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not clear the infection, causing it to return. Cover with a bandage only if instructed to do so by your doctor. If no improvement is seen after one week, consult your doctor. Another medication may be necessary. Avoid using CLIOQUINOL around the eyes, nose or mouth.

CLIOQUINOL USES:
CLIOQUINOL is used to treat fungal skin infections.

CLIOQUINOL PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: other skin conditions, any allergies. This medicine may stain clothes, skin, nails, or hair. Before using CLIOQUINOL, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or are planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.

CLIOQUINOL DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially: other skin products. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

CLIOQUINOL OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

CLIOQUINOL NOTES:
CLIOQUINOL is prescribed for your current condition only. Do not use it for another infection or share it with someone else. Another infection later on may require a different medicine.

MISSED CLIOQUINOL DOSE:
If you miss a dose, apply as soon as remembered and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

CLIOQUINOL STORAGE:
Store at room temperature away from moisture and sunlight. Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from getting wet. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep out of the reach of children.
