Drug Name: CHILDRENS NASALCROM CHILDRENS NASALCROM DESCRIPTION: CROMOLYN - NASAL (CROW-mow-lin) COMMON CHILDRENS NASALCROM BRAND NAME(S): Nasalcrom CHILDRENS NASALCROM SIDE EFFECTS: CHILDRENS NASALCROM may cause lightheadedness, headache, sneezing, nasal irritation, stinging, or drying of nasal tissue. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor promptly. Notify your doctor if you develop sores in your nose, swelling of the face, wheezing or experience frequent nosebleeds. In the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, itching, swelling, dizziness or trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. HOW TO USE CHILDRENS NASALCROM: CHILDRENS NASALCROM: Patient instructions should be provided with the product. Make sure you understand how to use the medication properly. The medication must reach the nasal tissue to be effective. Therefore, blow your nose to clear the nasal passage before using the medication. If passages are blocked, a nasal decongestant may be used first to open the passages allowing proper penetration of the medication. Use CHILDRENS NASALCROM exactly as prescribed. Do not use it more frequently without your doctor's approval. Full benefit of the medication requires regular use. Effects are not immediate, but should be seen in a few days. CHILDRENS NASALCROM USES: CHILDRENS NASALCROM works directly on the nasal tissue to reduce swelling and inflammation. It is used to treat symptoms of allergies which may include nasal congestion, post nasal drip, itching, runny nose, or sneezing. CHILDRENS NASALCROM PRECAUTIONS: Tell you doctor your medical history, especially of liver or kidney disease, nasal polyps and of any allergies. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using this medication. It is not known if cromolyn is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. CHILDRENS NASALCROM DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all medications you may use (both prescription and nonprescription), especially of other nasal products. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. CHILDRENS NASALCROM OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. CHILDRENS NASALCROM NOTES: Do not share CHILDRENS NASALCROM with others. MISSED CHILDRENS NASALCROM DOSE: Use any missed dose as soon as possible. Use any remaining doses for the day at regularly spaced intervals. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up. CHILDRENS NASALCROM STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. |
