CARMEX DESCRIPTION:
AMMONIUM ALUM/SALICYLIC ACID/MENTHOL/CAMPHOR - TOPICAL (uh-MOW-nee-um AL-um/sal-ih-SILL-ick acid/MEN-thall/KAM-for)

CARMEX SIDE EFFECTS:
CARMEX is generally well tolerated. If irritation occurs, inform your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE CARMEX:
CARMEX: CARMEX is for use on the lips only. To use, apply a thin layer to lips as needed. Avoid use near the eyes.

CARMEX USES:
This is used to relieve and prevent chapped, dry or irritated lips and to protect them from sun and wind chaffing.

CARMEX PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you have any pre-existing illness or any allergies. CARMEX may be used during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.

CARMEX DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

CARMEX OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

CARMEX NOTES:
There are many products available to protect and relieve dry, chapped lips. You may try different forms (lip stick type versus ointment) or brands to see which is more convenient and effective for you.

MISSED CARMEX DOSE:
May be applied as needed.

CARMEX STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat or sunlight.
