ARALEN PHOSPHATE SIDE EFFECTS:
Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, cramps, loss of appetite, diarrhea, tiredness, weakness or headache may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop any changes seeing such as blurred vision, trouble seeing at night or problems focusing clearly. Also report if you experience ringing in the ears or have difficulty hearing while taking ARALEN PHOSPHATE. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE ARALEN PHOSPHATE:
ARALEN PHOSPHATE: Take ARALEN PHOSPHATE with food to prevent stomach upset. Take ARALEN PHOSPHATE exactly as prescribed. Do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor. It is important to continue taking this for the length of time prescribed. Stopping therapy too soon may not treat the infection and can lead to re-infection. While taking ARALEN PHOSPHATE, your doctor may schedule lab tests to check your eye sight, hearing and blood.

ARALEN PHOSPHATE USES:
ARALEN PHOSPHATE is used to prevent and treat malaria. Is also used to treat certain infections of the intestinal tract and certain types of skin problems.

ARALEN PHOSPHATE PRECAUTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you have pre-existing liver disease, blood disorders, or psoriasis. ARALEN PHOSPHATE should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Since small amounts of ARALEN PHOSPHATE are found in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

ARALEN PHOSPHATE DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor of any other medication you may take (including nonprescription), especially cimetidine, kaolin or magnesium trisilicate. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

ARALEN PHOSPHATE OVERDOSE:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include headache, drowsiness, visual disturbances, nausea, vomiting, and seizures.

ARALEN PHOSPHATE NOTES:
Children are very sensitive to the effects of this medication. It is important to keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.

MISSED ARALEN PHOSPHATE DOSE:
If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.

ARALEN PHOSPHATE STORAGE:
Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
